Name:
Illusionbreak
Age:
23 moons
Gender:
Tom
Clan:
EmberClan
Clan Position:
Deputy
Appearance:
The first thing one notices with this tom, is the fact that he is not much bigger then an average apprentice. Being short and lean, Illusionbreak has a sort of young attractive-ness that seems to draw in she cats, even though he really isn't interested in anyone at the moment. His looks though, often create an illusion around him, making him seem nothing more then an elder apprentice, something that irks him to no end whatsoever.
Starting at the face, there really isn't anything too special about Illusionbreak, aside from his pelt, a combo of black and white. Tall ears perch eagerly on his head, the right one being a pure black, the left one white with black on the part facing the right ear. On both ears, the black curves down partly, stopping just before it actually goes around the backside of the ear. Other then that though, Illusionbreak has a pure white face, aside from his nose, which is black all over, but turns to pin at the top. His eyes are the typical cat eye green, seeing as he isn't albino. However, they always seem to be sparked with something that is totally off from the rest of the world. Occasionally, others swear that his eyes are actually a very light, misty grey color. On his bottom jaw, there is one single speck of black, a small oval shape.
The build of Illuisonbreak is rather simple; speed, not strength. Thin, wiry, but yet not without his own kick, Illusionbreak is very thin, but not skinny. Down his neck, its pure white. As soon as you hit his chest though, there is a single black star like marking. Aside from that though, his stomach is pure white, going all the way to his tail, which is the only pure black marking on him. The legs of the tom, follow a rather similar pattern. On his back legs there is the only spots of black, on the backside of his legs, not too visible to the outside. On the right side of the cat though, is when everything changes. Moving up to his main body, there is a huge patch of black, seperated from his tail with only a thin line of white. It moves in a slash like pattern down his flank, stopping as soon as it hits his ribs. Moving along his back, there is one single dot of black that is hardly seen. Slightly diagonal from that dot, is another splash of blac, this one very close to his right front leg. And underneath that splash is a small splash, one that does somewhat connect with the right front leg of Illusionbreak.
His left side though, has a lot more black then his right side. Just like on his other flank, a nearly identical splash of black, seperated from his tail with only a thin white line, appears, this one though, stretches farther then the one on his right side. Not too far from that one, is another slash of black, kind of like the shape of California. Just slightly below and diagonal to that, is a smaller patch of black, one that just brushes the left front leg of Illusionbreak.
Personality:
Combine stuborn-ness and a fiery personality, and you get Illusionbreak. He is quick to fly off the handel, and more often then not, starts more fights then he starts. It doesn't take much to start him, and although he will accept that he is wrong at times, it doesn't mean he does it with much grace. Illusionbreak is not one though, to judge others before getting to know them. However, the small black and white tom is VERY wary of other cats, inside and outside of the clan. They are always hiding something, at least, thats what he says. There is something behind their eyes that he just can't trust, something hostile, something threatning. Although he doesn't judge, he also doesn't see the best in others either. A flaw that has saved his life on more then one occasion.
There has always been a rather odd streak throughout Illusionbreak, just from the sheer fact that he is always changing. The shoulder to cry on, or the stern deputy, he is everything he needs to be. Most of the time you see the cool, distant, part of the tom, but the moments later, you could see him suddenly getting into a fight. You could say that he has some mild MPD [Multiple personality disorder], but he is also one who has loyalty down to a fault, even if he doesn't always follow StarClan's wishes... Sometimes, he doesn't even think them to be up there, something that he has kept hidden from everyone as long as he can remember. Who would allow such pain in this world, if they actually cared?
Illusionbreak is one of many faces, but its his actions that detemind his mood. When he gets depressed, or just unhappy, Illusionbreak is morbid, sarcastic, and just generally not nice to be around. When he is happy, he tends to be bubbly, bright, and more then willing to laugh, aside from the dark thoughts he tends to harbor in the corners of his mind. When he is mad though, everything changes. Anger is evident with every motion he makes, and more often then not, he snaps at everyone in sight, no matter who they are. Often his sharp tongue gets the better of him, and he ends up regretting what he says, but that doesn't stop him. You see, Illusionbreak has a very blunt tongue, one he isn't afraid to use.
Family:
Larkfur - Deceased - Mother
Nightpelt - Deceased - Father
Blindeyes - Deceased - Sibling - Sister
Mutemouth - Deceased - Sibling - Brother
History:
Illusionbreak was born to two proud warriors of Larkfu and Nughtpelt, warriors who were respected to the death, and pretty much loved by all. However, thier only litter was going to be something nobody saw. Mutekit and Blindkit seemed to be normal enough [they were named for their markings], but Illusionkit was a runt, smaller then the rest, and therefor a disgrace. How they had wanted strong warriors! Well, at least they could say that they had two, for at the moment, it seemed to be there was nothing wrong with Mutekit and Blindkit. When they started to get around and move though; all hope had fled from the two previous pround parents. Ironically, Mutekit and Blindkit were exactly what their names said; mute and blind. Ashamed, Larkfur and Nightpelt still cared for their kits, but not with the same devotation as the other mothers. Illusionkit grew up passed around and around, envying all those who had families that happened to be normal, those who happened to be love. Even though there was something wrong with all of them, Illusionkit grew closer and closer to his siblings, pretty much forgetting all about his parents. At least, for now...
Apprenticeship was something very different for Illusionkit, or rather, Illusionpaw. His mentor was a wise she cat who was called Silkraven, a pure grey she cat with the most amazing temper he had ever seen. She taught him what it was like to be loved, and everything else he knew. In a way, she healed him, and he came to love her as he would love a parent. All his siblings were like that, until Blindpaw got killed by a monster. Or at least, that was what was assumed. All that was known, is that Illusionpaw had been on a border patrol, and had come back with the blood of his sibling all over his pelt. Never again would he be the same. Getting close to someone meant death to something inside you as they died, a mistake he didn't want to repeat.
Warriorship followed the same path, only during one night, he lost not only his sibling, but his parents as well, from some genetic fault in their DNA, which seemed to have skipped over him. Such pain and anguish he felt that night, he made a vow to never love again, and to this day, he has kept it. Being the determind cat he was though, it wasn't soon before he was made the deputy, serving under Darkstar, one of his few friends he had made during apprenticeship, even if she had been older then he. And now, although the two often conflict with each other, Illusionbreak is secretly glad to have someone he knows with him, seeing as his mentor died [natrually] not too many moons ago, living long enough to see him become Deputy, and offer her last words of wisdom about what was going to happen.
Mate:
None at this time.
Other:
Got a bit lazy doing his history. Sorry about that.
