Appearance:

Thunderheart is a medium sized cat with a lithe frame. Her leaf-green and yellow eyes blend with her coat as well as her surroundings, making it easy for her to hide unnoticed in brambles. Her fur is a tabby brown with stripes of black. Her paws as well as her chest and the lower part of her muzzle are white, accenting her pink nose and pads. Her tail is long and whipping, covered in every shade of brown and topped with a band of black at the end. Her ears are a little bit large, granting her better hearing than most cats.Thunderheart has a streak of orange on the right side of her muzzle that seems to stand out against the rest of her coat. She has no scars of any kind since she has rarely seen battle.

Personality:

Thunderheart has a fierce personality. She is stubborn, and always aims to win an argument. Even though she cares about everyone, she always goes for the logical course of action despite her emotions.

However, she normally has a cheery disposition, and she loves to have fun and talk with other cats. She is mature about everything, and hates being around cats who are not. Her patience is pretty high, though sarcasm will start to sink in when she gets annoyed. Surprisingly, it takes a lot to get her infuriated.

When she gets mad, though, her sarcasm is the first thing to appear before she starts to get into a rage. She's gotten very good about controlling her anger, but should it come up, you do not want to be the target. Tail lashing, eyes blazing, she will present the cold facts, then put in her own fiery emotions into the mix to make you sorry you ever mentioned whatever it was that got her worked up this badly.

History:

Thunderheart has had a rough history. Part of a litter of two, she and her sister Shiningkit had to fare through a harsh winter at only three moons, and Shiningkit almost didn't make it through. As it was, she was weakened for the rest of her life, and had barely become an apprentice when she died of a late greencough. The loss devastated Thunderheart, then the medicine cat apprentice, cutting even deeper because she could not do anything to save her sister.

After that horrible season, Thunderheart decided that she would dedicate herself to avoiding tragedies like that again. She worked hard at her duties, pleasing both her mentor and the rest of the clan with her selfless obedience and work. She kept her sorrow inside of her, the only fuel that kept her going for the longest time. She was made a full medicine cat seven moons before her mentor, Sparrowfur, died.

Sparrowfur was an old cat, older still than some of the elders, and there was absolutely nothing that Thunderheart could do to prevent his death. This time, however, Thunderheart was able to realize that, and did not go mad with grief. She instead set about the hard duties of being the sole medicine cat, and has carried that mantle for 33 moons.
